The Job
The position-holder has overall responsibility for the management of accounting department
for the company, and also managing the transaction between HQ and 3 branches.
Qualifications
This position requires someone who is qualified by an apprenticeship and has job experience in
accounting department, ideally in an international company. They will possess good verbal and
written English and German language skills and have strong administration and computer (ERP
system, Excel) skills.
Principal Accountabilities Accounting and Tax
∙ Prepare, maintain and audit the internal monthly management accounts of entire
DSD office on an in-house accounting system.
∙ Conduct and interpret variance analysis on monthly basis and be able to discuss
results with business department GM’s and management, as well as with Tokyo.
∙ Coordinate internal and external audit process and provide support to the auditors
i.e. internal audit, annual accounting audit, tax audit and export/import audits.
∙ Support preparation of quarterly consolidated financial reports.
∙ Communicate with tax advisors to resolve tax and VAT issues that arise internally.
∙ Check and approve the monthly VAT report for Germany and other European
Countries.
∙ Deal with Transfer Pricing reporting.
∙ Support the introduction of new ERP system
Finance
∙ Active communication with banks for forward currency contract transactions, loans,
bank guarantees.
∙ Approval for daily incoming/outgoing payments.
∙ Entering into foreign exchange contracts and managing FX position.
∙ Preparing monthly/quarterly reports (ex. FX position, Usage balance of facility limit).
Others
∙ Demonstrate full professional skills and knowledge and will both a trusted advisor on
a particular topic and be able to develop company procedures and methods.
∙ Uses analytical skills to develop solutions to non-routine problems.
∙ Management of overall administrative team composed of Finance / Accounting,
Human Resource / General Affairs.

field with experience in an international (trading) company.
