Automotive Electric Traction Components

For our client, one of the top global suppliers of electric traction components for the automotive market, we are looking for a Customer Support Engineer for a support office in Munich.

Your duties

- discussing individual application concepts together with clients, communicating the client’s wishes to the development team, devising appropriate concepts together with the team
- technical calculations and simulations
- customer acquisition and customer care
- ensuring smooth communication between engineering teams of our European customers and HQ/development team in Japan
- regular reporting (Japanese-English or Japanese-German) to headquarters in Japan

Your profile

- university degree (bachelor, master, diploma) in electrical or mechanical engineering
- technical background and working experience in one or more of the following domains:

• Electric traction motors for electric or hybrid vehicles
• Power Electronics (inverter, DC/DC converter, battery charger)
• Lithium-Ion batteries for automotive traction applications

- solid knowledge of the Japanese language (orally and in writing), fluent in English and/or German
- ideally several years of experience in the electric mobility and electric traction industry
- service-oriented friendly personality with high communication skills
